EA sports titles have been creepily close in picking champions. So maybe Big Blue fans should be excited.

Super Bowl XLVI is right around the corner; it features the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. The last time these two teams met in the championship game was four years ago, and the Giants ended New England’s bid for a perfect season.

And according to the Madden NFL 12 simulation, New York will once again get the better of Brady and Co. The Patriots fall behind 24-10 in the third quarter and claw their way back to tie it at 24 apiece, but the Giants win it on a last-second field goal. Check it out.

Also, don’t forget that this simulation isn’t taking Gronkowski’s injury into account; if the big tight end can’t play, a lot of experts say the advantage goes to New York. New England fans are definitely hoping for some revenge and in truth, so am I…the Giants beat my Niners in the NFC championship game, a game San Francisco absolutely deserved to win as they totally outplayed New York for the majority of the game. Bah.
