PS4 is not coming soon because PS3’s demand is still considerably high – Sony

Everyone was anticipating that PS$ will be unleashed soon but Sony discarded any latest version release of PlayStation. PS3 is selling like hot cakes at the markets and company doesn’t want to improvise at this stage of the product life cycle by introducing
the newer version. There is still no advancement about the release of PS4 and Sony has accepted the fact that it is highly unrealistic for them to think anything about the release of PS4 this year.

PS4 will not be released shortly, or at least that’s what can be deduced following the recent statements by the president of Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House (via CVG). The manager explained that the company does not provide a console yet speak
successor as PlayStation 3 is in full swing.

“One thing I always say is that, unlike our major competitors, we have achieved, especially with PS2 , lengthen the life cycle to ensure the profitability of our distribution partners, “said the manager of Sony , tacitly dropping PlayStation 4 still can’t
leave because his predecessor still has much to say.

However, House has revealed that Sony bet on the traditional business model that is to launch PS4 and their games in physical form, rather than enter the world of the game by streaming as this system still leads to problems for titles in high definition.
Perhaps we will have more clues about the successor of PS3 at E3, although the statements of the director of Sony Computer Entertainment are not exactly encouraging.

This news will definitely disappoint the PlayStation fanatics but considering the perspective of the company; killing the current demand for PS3 and introducing PS4 might be hazardous because people may not like it and the overall turnover decrease massively.
In coming years Sony plans to introduce the newer version but not now.
