PS3 DLC explodes today with both Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3

 
Two giants of the PS3 are getting a DLC pack today, Resistance 3 and Battlefield 3. Both praised shooters, both feature co-op and both are mega-selling blockbusters.
 
Your PS3 hasn’t had this much DLC to download on the same day for a long time now. So set your ‘download in background’ to on read more about the packs.
 
First you have the much anticipated Battlefield 3 ‘Back to Karkland’ DLC pack for the PS3 first with Xbox 360 and PC to follow next week. The pack is a collection of four “remastered” maps made popular from Battlefield 2. They include; Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula.
 
You can also pick yourself up five new achievements or trophies, 10 new weapons, five new dog tags for customization, three new vehicles and a new persistence system where you can complete assignments to earn rewards.
 

 
Next you have the Resistance 3 ‘Co-op Brutality Pack’. The new DLC will be priced at a fantastic $3.99, it features a survival mode where “you face off against an army of ravenous Grims as they try to take you and your friends down”.
 
In the DLC pack you also get a Mick Cutler skin and the sledgehammer unlocked for all of the game’s modes. You also get a Warden Static PS3 Theme.
