Future launches free on-console PS3 show

CVG publisher Future and Sony Computer Entertainment UK have revealed Access, a new on-console PS3 show available to download for free every Wednesday from the PlayStation Store.

Presented by comedian Lucy Porter and billed as a ten minute weekly HD video guide to the best of PlayStation in the UK, it promises to offer “unrivalled access to… the best games, the biggest industry events and SCE UK’s Access community“.

It’ll offer up-to-the-minute previews, interviews and features, with selected content later made available to watch across Future’s portfolio of games websites, including CVG and GamesRadar.

Episode one of Access, which is available now, features Resistance 3 and FIFA 12 segments, and reports directly from SCE UK’s Access tour.

“We’re hugely proud of the market-leading video content we’re producing and this is the perfect showcase for it,” said Simon Maxwell, Future group publisher, entertainment.

SCE UK marketing director Alan Duncan added: “The show is a key part of our Access project delivering high quality original content covering everything that’s happening on PlayStation in the UK. It also gives our partners a new opportunity to reach key PlayStation gamers.”
