Madden NFL 12 PS3, Xbox 360 tackles US retail

EA Inc. this week released Madden NFL 12 for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 to U.S. retail.

Madden NFL 12 is said to include an all-new collision system, advanced defensive AI, and custom playbooks.

Amazon this week is offering a $20 Bonus with the purchase of Madden NFL 12.

In addition, pre-order customers will receive the exclusive All Rookies Team and the All Sophomores Team at no additional cost.

The limited edition Hall of Fame Edition SKU will include a copy of Madden NFL 12, one of four Marshall Faulk trading cards with a hand-signed autograph from Marshal Faulk, and the Madden Ultimate Team Platinum Card Pack with 13 NFL Hall of Famers at $89.95.

Sony in Aug. price cut the PS3 160GB SKU to $249.99.

In addition, the PS3 320GB Move Bundle now sells at $349.99.

Microsoft in Sept. will sell a new limited edition Xbox 360 320GB Gears of War 3 Bundle at $399.99.

In 2012 it will sell the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect Bundle at $449.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.

Bundle SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Special Edition Bundle at $399.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle at $299.99.
