Gone are the days of bundled consoles with second tier games. Not long after Best Buy issued a LittleBigPlanet and Wall-E 80 GB bundle, news has surfaced that the electronics retailer’s shelves will soon see a Killzone 2, MGS4 80 GB bundle, two of the hottest and most popular games on Sony’s next-gen system. The image shows the box art for the new bundle. Rumors of the bundles release date range from ‘very soon’ to ‘dude, right now!’. The rumored price is $399, not bad considering you get two games that you won’t be able to stop playing for months. Is this a clever technique Sony’s using to try and close the sales gap on the other consoles? Or is Sony, in fact, clearing the way for a newer, possibly slimmer SKU? You decide, but for now, don’t miss your chance to pick up possibly the best gaming console bundle to ever hit the market.
Update ( By: Mike): The console package is out now! Some Best Buy’s are holding them for next week, but they are real and out! As seen in the picture I took below.
